Machine & Work Capability
ABIC F.L.I.'s machine shop is designed for a wide range of
use. Employing five lathes of varying capacity, the largest of which
being capable of turning items of up to 1200mm diameter and 2500mm in
length. The shop also has a number of vertical and horizontal milling
machines, shapers, slotters, pillar and radial drills, grinders etc.
Additional to the above machines, the workshop operates a
large guillotine and brake press, sanding and buffing equipment for
sheet metal working.
Skilled staff enable a wide variety of equipment and components to be
machined. This total in house capability enables ABIC F.L.I. to avoid
reliance on third parties for most repairs or maintenance functions.
